Your invoices and job records include information about your business and your customers. Here is who reads them, what we keep and how to ask us to delete them.
Who handles them
Your documents are read by the reviewer who runs Invoice Unblock, working from India. Nobody else reads them. To ask about your documents, email contact@invoiceunblock.com.
What we store
- The documents you upload: your invoice and any accepted quotes, purchase orders, visit sheets, signed job sheets or customer replies you send with it.
- What you enter in your workspace: invoice details, replies from your customer and payments you record.
- Your account email, and a record of what you paid for.
Payment is taken through PayPal. We never see or hold your card details.
How long we keep it
- Your account records stay until you delete them. We do not remove your invoice history just because it is old while your account is open.
- If you upload documents but abandon the draft without submitting a case, we remove those uploads after 30 days.
- When you ask us to delete records, we remove the copies we work from within 30 days. Copies in backups are removed within a further 60 days.
- We keep records the law requires us to keep, such as proof of a payment, for as long as it requires. We will tell you which records this applies to.
Deleting a source
You can delete any document you have sent. If a finding in your report linked to that document, it will then say source removed. The link will stop working, so you will no longer be able to open that document from the report.
We do not keep a separate copy for old reports. The deletion times above also apply to these documents, including copies in backups.
Getting your records out
Email contact@invoiceunblock.com to ask for a copy of your invoice history and any reports we have delivered. If you also want your records deleted, we will send you the copy first.
What we do not claim
We hold no security certification. We do not claim your documents are stored in the UK or the EU. Your reviewer needs to read your files to check the invoice, so access is not limited to you.
We never send anything to your customer, and we do not use the contents of your documents to analyse how people use the service, to market it or to show examples of our work.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about how we handle your information, email contact@invoiceunblock.com. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you can complain to the data protection authority in your own country.
